Next Thursday we will be heading to Malawi, Africa on a Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity trip. I am excited to be leading this trip, and bringing my daughter Ashley with me. After 26+ hours of travel, our team will arrive in Blantyre, and on Saturday, July 11, our Thrivent Builds trip will officially begin. We have 11 people on our team from all over the U.S., many of whom are new to Habitat. We will be staying and building in the Mulanje area for the next week.
We hope to make regular postings here on this site to talk about our daily experiences and share pictures with everyone.
